You are now mature enough to do real work, and it's work that not only benefits you, but other people and the world in general. It is different from the second house of Taurus where you work for your own benefit. Here you must learn to work with your environment, and on a more difficult level, you must learn to work with the people in it

As an adult, you have the innate responsibility of caring for others who need your help. Caring for animals also falls into this house because they are also "others" who need your help. The sixth house also differs from the second in that in the sixth, it's not simply about working to build wealth for the sake of your own security. It's about working to provide for the needs of everyone can benefit.As an adult, you now must learn the importance of working to improve, not only your life, but the lives of everyone else also. This is a relationship house. Being a part of a business and working as a team to produce a product that benefits society becomes more important.

This differs from working just to support yourself as it you did in the second house, which was a personal house. In the sixth house, you want to take pride in your work and your expertise. This motto permeates every facet of life in the sixth house so that it becomes a lifestyle issue. At this point in your evolution, you learn that consistently doing things correctly makes everything better.

It helps you and those around you. Furthermore, living a "correct" lifestyle improves your physical health. Just as the second house involved the earthy experience of food, so does the sixth. But here in the sixth, it's a more mature, refined enjoyment of food. As an adult now, you are more picky about what you eat.You now understand how what you eat affects how you feel and affects your health. In fact, the whole mind-body connection comes to light in this house. Rather than simply lavishing yourself in physical pleasure regardless of the effects, as you did in the second house, now you are interested in the relationship between how you treat your body and how your body and mind end up feeling as a result.
