Taurus is the sign which is least likely to accept astrology. If you can't touch it and feel it, it doesn't exist for a Taurus. The most reality based of all of the signs, astrology is a bit too abstract for them. That being said, most of the people who read this will not be Taurus personalities. Instead, they will be people in relationships with Taureans and the one thing these people will know for sure is that the most important thing to a Taurus is earthly comfort. In fact, it will often seem that comfort is more important to a Taurus personality than their relationship with you! Now this is certainly not true. It only seems that way. You are very important to your Taurus person. Comfort comes next though. Let's not kid ourselves. Soft beds and chairs are among their most prized possessions, as are any things made of soft or delicate fabrics. Taurus will spend a great deal of time choosing the right fabrics.

A comment made by an unknowing person can be cleverly dissected into what the person really means by Taurus. And the Taurus will find just the right couple of words to turn what the person was so tactfully trying to skirt around into the blunt and naked truth of the statement, and it will be fabulously hilarious. Taurus knows how to cut the crap and get to the heart of what anyone is trying way too carefully to express.Besides sex, food ranks pretty high on their list of sensual enjoyments. Luckily, this investment of time is not wasted on people with bad taste. Ruled by Venus, Taurus knows beauty when they see it. They are generally not tacky or the ones who overdo it. They understand simple beauty and quality. They are the first of the earth signs and seem to have a separate sense just for sniffing out quality, beauty, and finding what just plain feels good. Take them clothes shopping with you. They will give you honest advice and are most likely correct about what looks good on you. They will not help you with the cost of the items however. You'll need a Virgo for that. They will likely take you to the most expensive stores and recommend the higher-end items. They can't help it. They know crap when they see it, and they absolutely shun it. This is their downfall too. When they see something they want, their bull-like, fixed sign, stubbornness kicks in and they won't give up until they get the object of their desire. If they are a child, they will incessantly beg and plead. If they are an adult, they may set up a separate account just to save for what they want, or perhaps open a new charge card to make the purchase. Although Taurus greatly values a savings account, they also greatly value many other things. Truth be told however, they are generally good at managing money and usually are able to keep a nice cushion saved for harder times, however much they may feel they suffer to do it. Material items are not the only things they value. Taurus is the sign of "values". As a rule, they value nice objects, music, paintings, any type of tasteful art including the performing arts. Many are outstanding musicians and many are talented comedians. Being the first earth sign gives them a clear vision of reality which is the source of their humor.

Food is definitely one of the more important parts of their lives. This is not to say they are all overweight from overeating. This is not the case. Most choose quality over quantity. Although I wouldn't go so far as to say there are a great many extremely thin Taureans. No, most Taurus are pleasingly curvy. The women have a soft look with feminine curves. The men often have thick necks and broad shoulders and manage to have a softness to their unmistakably masculine look. So, what more could you ask for, fine food, drink, music, clothing, and furniture from a beautiful person who enjoys sensual love with a great sense of humor.

Well, they do have one trap they often fall victim of, and it usually doesn't happen until they're a good way into adulthood. Remember those values we spoke about. Well, they can come in the form of beliefs, tyrannical beliefs! When a Taurus gets hold of the belief which they value, they can grab it and never let go. Then, they will beat you over the head with it, metaphorically of course, until you just can't stand to listen to it anymore. There will be no patience with people who disagree, and they will absolutely never back down from their stance. Their feet are firmly planted in the earth, and they become the bull that will not be moved. This could be a religious belief or a political belief. The sky's the limit, but they will not waiver. They will be more kind and patient than most people 95% of the time, but when you touch upon that 5% of the world that they have made up their minds about, you will be sorry you entered that territory. You will certainly learn very quickly what subjects and topics to avoid.

Let's not lose our focus however. For the most part, Taurus is a wonderful, caring sign. And don't forget that great sense of humor. Enjoy them for all of their peaceful, beautiful ways. They have a lot to offer.
