The ability to stand your ground and defend your opinions while remaining calm and peaceful are the gifts of a well placed Mars. No one enjoys being pushed around or having their will subverted and if a person is experiencing this, it will not go on for ever. The question lies in how it will end. Mars and anger...

Anger is useful and necessary. Obviously it can also cause harm, and taken too far, is counterproductive. But healthy, restrained and appropriate anger is useful. Mars is notorious for selfish anger because anger is difficult to control and Mars is not a mature planet. It is difficult to balance a planet's need to exert the will of individual, and at the same time, keep the effect it is having on everyone else equally in mind. For this reason, the power of Mars is most useful when it is used in a restrained and careful fashion. Although this is difficult, the planet's ability to have an effect and achieve goals is greatly accelerated when this ability is honed. Mars is powerful, but must be handled with care.
