Venus in Pisces...

There is an attraction to sensitive, compassionate, empathetic and emotionally open people when Venus is in Pisces. A desire to break down the boundaries of awkwardness, emotional distance and judgement is strong with this position. These people want to merge with other people and the world for that matter. They admire people who are emotionally available and authentic. Those who don't honor feelings or disguise their feelings just to uphold the ideal of correct behavior don't attract or even interest them. They would rather spend their time with a person who is slightly off kilter

and emotionally disturbed than a person who refuses to experience their emotions at all. The Venus in Pisces person knows that no one is truly emotionally balanced and healthy, and if people refuse to accept their own emotional weaknesses, there is no way they are going to accept the Venus in Pisces' true feelings and emotions. This dynamic will drive these chart holders away. No matter how outlandish or depressing a person's emotional state is, the Venus in Pisces person will have compassion for them.

This compassion is valued above everything else. They are keenly aware of how painful the human condition can be. Because they feel things so deeply themselves, they understand on an emotional level, how much suffering people experience. They are able to empathize and help people work through their suffering by offering themselves completely to other people. An ability to listen to people beyond the words they are using gives the Venus in Pisces person a perspective beyond intellectual understanding. They can feel the pain in other people not just understand it.

This ability to feel beyond words also imbues them with artistic talent, or at least an appreciation of art. They value artistic expression because it is a medium for expressing feelings indirectly without words and intellect. Seeing the world through feelings gives them a great appreciation for all of the arts.

The contradiction with these people is that, even though they are extremely accepting and compassionate about the eccentricities and emotional flaws in other people, they are reluctant to burden people with theirs. Although their emotional suffering is evident, they dance around the subject of their pain without using accurate words to describe their feelings or situations. They tend to be vague when talking about themselves. Saying one thing and emotionally expressing another is common with this chart position.

They value acceptance and compassion, but they want to deal with their own pain. So they may talk in circles about their situations, expecting you to read between the lines like they are so intuitively able to do. They understand suffering as a natural part of life. They accept it in themselves, and they are willing to get through it on their own. This tendency can get them labeled as martyrs.

Another concern that plagues them, making them unclear and vague in their relationships, is their unwillingness to hurt their mate's feelings. Because they are so sensitive to pain, they put great effort into sparing the feelings of others. Bad news can be conveyed in a way that makes it seem like good news. They may hint at problems, hoping the other person will catch on so they don't have to actually deliver the bad news. In the worst cases, when the situation feels like a trap where someone is going to get hurt, they may just leave. Most likely, they will return. In the mean time, understand that they are compassionate people who are extremely sensitive. Sometimes, they do get washed under by pain, and even if they want to suffer alone, they still need you to give them the same compassion and acceptance they are always so willing to offer. 

At times, it can even seem like they enjoy wallowing in pain and that their willingness to sacrifice and suffer is just weakness. They aren't weak. Accept and empathize with them like they do for you, and you will have a person who truly accepts, loves and understands the real, inner you. They are tender, sweet and value the sensitive nature of the human psyche.
