Fastidious and yet carefree, Virgo is complex. They enjoy freedom in life and yet are attuned to details that most signs overlook. In relationships, Virgo needs the freedom they crave and they prefer a mate who respects their opinions, skills and advice. |
A very sweet combination is found when two Virgos are in a relationship. Patient and helpful with each other, they will get along splendidly. Each will happily give the other the space and freedom they desire because they truly understand this need, and each will offer the other help whenever it is needed. They won't be particularly critical with each other, as they tend to be with other signs, because they simply will be less likely to find fault in another Virgo. The only problem is they will both yearn for more excitement. Although Virgo is pleasant and kind, they aren't the most outgoing and vibrant personalities. There isn't likely to be much excitement in the bedroom either, as Virgo is a more intellectual sign who doesn't tend toward passion. Much better as friends than as lovers, two Virgos get along well, but lack the spark for romance.
Libra and Virgo each appreciate the other's kind and gentle manner. Virgo is attracted to Libra's outgoing, fun, and positive attitude. Libra can guide Virgo into new activities that satisfy Virgo's need to run free, and show Virgo how to live more spontaneously and for the sake of fun. Virgo is happy to be with someone who understands their need to keep things clean and in order so that their world runs smoothly and efficiently. Although for Libra, this understanding comes from their need to live in a beautiful, peaceful world. Regardless, both want their surroundings to be in order and well kept even if it is for different reasons. But it is these different reasons that can lead to attraction in addition to a rub between the two. While Libra is optimistic, Virgo can seem negative due to their tendency to be petty and critical over details. Libra may also find that Virgo doesn't operate on a high enough energy level to keep up with Libra. Virgo, on the other hand, may feel that Libra needs to be more realistic, practical and down to earth.

Virgo - Scorpio

Scorpio and Virgo are both careful decision makers in all areas of life, but particularly when it comes to love and money. When it comes to money, they both agree that not using care is just plain stupid. With love, both may at some point fall victim to the lure of a fling, but when it comes to choosing to commit to a mate, serious consideration is used. Virgo doesn't want to give up freedom for someone who doesn't respect their individuality, and Scorpio doesn't want to commit to someone who won't completely merge with them. The primary difference between them is their level of emotional depth on an individual level and in partnerships. Virgo can sometimes be shallow, while Scorpio is forever deep. Even the caddy female Scorpio who enjoys critiquing all of the other girls with her Virgo friend is harboring deep feelings inside that she probably isn't sharing with Virgo. The critiques are only conversation topics for Virgo. The things Scorpio cares about most, relate to feelings and emotions rather than anything tangible and "out there". Scorpio is all about what's inside, while Virgo is perfectly happy dealing with what's outside. These two are more often friends than lovers.
Virgo - Sagittarius

Virgos beware. Sagittarius does not like to be critiqued. Try it, and you will quickly discover how smart Sagittarians are. Sagittarius will find a way to demonstrate how Virgo is wrong, and possibly even put the same critique back onto Virgo. Virgo meets its match in Sagittarius when it comes to picking people apart, but Sagittarius is better at it. Stick to being helpful Virgo, and let Sagittarius handle the critiques. Sagittarius will definitely appreciate Virgo's helpful nature because Sagittarians tend to procrastinate and sometimes do actually run out of time when trying to accomplish tasks. Virgo's efficiency skills are exactly what Sagittarius needs in these instances. And it isn't that Sagittarius doesn't respect Virgo's keen eye for criticism, they just don't want to be the target. Virgo may be right about Sagittarius' scattered nature and their cutting sarcasm can border on insulting at times, but Virgo secretly envies Sagittarius' ability to say it with style and flare. These two don't make the best match in terms of compatibility, but the attraction may be high.
Virgo - Capricorn

Two practical and realistic signs, Virgo and Capricorn have an easy relationship. Both signs put work high on their list of priorities and they both value money. A tendency to instruct others on correct behavior is also common to both signs, and although other signs are often bothered by this, Capricorn and Virgo don't mind it so much from each other. They are great at seeing the other's point of view on these issues. At times, however, Capricorn may feel that Virgo can be a bit selfish about their need for independence. Virgo wants to follow their own interests, but Capricorn feels Virgo's time would be better spent helping with Capricorn's concerns. Virgo may feel that Capricorn needs to be more easy going and more sensitive. Virgo is a subtle sign that enjoys gentle communication. Capricorn's style can be blunt and aggressive which sometimes offends Virgo. Overall, however, these two see eye-to-eye and get along well although there may not be much to excite them romantically.
Romance is more likely here than friendship as these two are rather different. Both share a need for freedom and Aquarius and Virgo are both self-contained, independent people, which works well for their relationship. But Virgo is still a relationship-oriented sign, while Aquarius is truly independent; what's more, Aquarius is focused on universal issues while Virgo is focused on personal issues. While these two may find these differences attractive, they don't blend as well in a friendship. Aquarius may find Virgo's tendency to harp on decisions over small matters nonsensical and will never tolerate any personal criticism of Aquarius' personality or choices. If Virgo steers clear of critiques and simply helps Aquarius by dealing with details for them, this relationship can be smooth sailing. Aquarius will greatly appreciate this, as it will free up more time for Aquarius to contribute to the world on a grand scale. If Virgo finds Aquarius' need to do this attractive, and enjoys helping, this relationship will work.

Virgo does not always feel that Pisces makes good decisions because Pisces takes things too far and doesn't set appropriate limits. On the other hand, Pisces feels that Virgo has too many rules and is so careful about doing things correctly that they don't live fully enough. For Pisces, life is messy and that's alright. It can frustrate Pisces to watch Virgo take so much time dealing with issues that Pisces would rather overlook completely. Pisces would rather feel their way through life and grasp the big picture than get every detail right but miss the big picture. Because they approach life from opposing angels, these two can combine their efforts and make a great team. In the end, they both want to deal with life's issues effectively so they can move on and have some freedom. They are both free spirits even if their visions of how to get the freedom differ. In love, Pisces may want a bit more emotion and passion than Virgo has to offer and Virgo may eventually lose patience with Pisces' scattered nature. This relationship can go either way in love and friendship. It's up to the individuals.
Virgo - Aries

Aries and Virgo often find one another fascinating. Their differences are obvious. Virgo is mellow and patient. Aries is aggressive and impatient. They differ in their basic natures. However, they both find that precision, accuracy and attention to detail are tools which get them far. For Virgo, it's easy to use these tools as they are inherently blessed with these skills given to them by Mercury. Aries can use these tools, but it's easier for Aries to use their natural Mars endowed leaderships skills to direct others to use the tools for them. It's easy to see how these two can make quite a team and really make things happen. There is enough compatibility to sustain the relationship and a high level of attraction to make it exciting.
Virgo - Taurus Relationship

A very easy relationship where a practical and frugal mindset is found with both signs and they rarely disagree on day-to-day issues. Virgo and Taurus both enjoy practical, earthy activities like gardening and cooking and they are both good at them. When cooking, they take their time choosing the right ingredients and enjoy the process of preparing the food. Both signs also enjoy growing their own food along with any type of gardening. It's only when it comes to details that these signs differ. Virgo is extremely detail oriented, while Taurus feels that getting too detailed is a waste of time. Overall, however, they share a very similar calm, peaceful nature which makes attraction unlikely. There are not enough differences between the two to ignite romance.
Virgo - Gemini

Virgo and Gemini often make a great combination. Both ruled by Mercury, these two get one another, yet there are enough differences to spur attraction. Detailed oriented by nature, neither sign is offended by the other's correcting them when they are wrong about even the smallest matter. Facts are facts and if they are wrong, Gemini and Virgo will be the first signs to admit it. Both signs also share a love of freedom. For the most part, they will each honor the needs of the other when it comes to space in the relationship. Their differences, however, do start to come out in this area. Gemini, being air, requires more freedom than Virgo. Virgo will be ready to settle down before Gemini and once together, Virgo will want more of a conventional relationship with dinner time and Sundays together. Overall though, these two can really make it work and have a satisfying relationship.
Cancer and Virgo relationships are common and are often lifelong. These two feel comfortable together and naturally care for one another. Quite a team, together they can run a household seamlessly. Virgo's craftiness and skill with finance, combined with Cancer's mothering abilities and caring nature make them a nice pair, not to mention that these two are both excellent cooks. Virgo does need to take care, however, not to nitpick Cancer and forget that Cancer lives in a world of feelings, not material details. And Cancer needs to allow Virgo space, rather than tucking Virgo into their nest of love and expecting their caring ways to be all that Virgo needs. Given these caveats, these two get along quite well, but they are more often better as friends than lovers as there isn't enough mystery to stir romance. These two understand each other a little too well for that.
Leo can come on a little strong for Virgo who may see Leo as loud and dramatic. Leo may feel that Virgo should loosen up and learn to simply experience life instead of constantly analyzing it. If their differences aren't seen as annoyances, these two can find attraction in their relationship. Virgo and Leo are very different and don't often pair up, but it can work. If Virgo doesn't find Leo's need to shine artificial and selfish, and if Leo doesn't see Virgo's need to make painstakingly careful decisions as an excuse to control everything, these two can get along. When Virgo admires Leo's courage in grabbing attention and when Leo sees Virgo's critical nature as helpful, this relationship can be rewarding. This combination can go either way.
