It seems perfect. Two Cancers providing each other with tenderness and care, with each always watching out for the other's feelings. They give each other the emotional depth they both crave, and always offer each other a shoulder to cry on when the world gets them down. They offer one another true empathy. In each other, they have a partner who truly understands what it means to completely give to someone emotionally and have that commitment returned in full. It can be wonderful, yet for some Cancers, it isn't enough. The familiarity of another Cancer may seem too much like looking in a mirror. There may not be enough difference between them for spice and excitement in the relationship.
Leo and Cancer are very different, but this relationship can work. Leo enjoys Cancer's caring ways. Cancer can really dish out love in large doses and Leo can absorb an unending amount. Cancer enjoys Leo's jovial ways which bring out Cancer's quirky side. Cancer enjoys Leo's lively nature and these two can have some fun together when this dynamic is running smoothly. However, things aren't always optimal, and Leo can really throw a wrench in the machine with a sometimes inflated ego which can overwhelm Cancer. Leo also feels Cancer needs to lighten up and not take things so seriously. Leo often feels Cancer is negative and harps on things that are better forgotten. Furthermore, Cancer can inflate Leo's ego with all of the loving attention Cancer gives, which can backfire on Cancer when Leo gets overly social or even flirtatious with other people. Leo's lack of sensitivity contributes its share of problems. Although Leo, in the right mood, can literally smother someone with love and attention, they are not consistent. Cancer is likely to feel left out in the cold during Leo's not-so-loving moods which may send Cancer looking elsewhere. Regardless of their difficulties in compatibility, Leo and Cancer are often attracted to each other.

Cancer - Virgo

Cancer and Virgo relationships are common and are often lifelong. These two feel comfortable together and naturally care for one another. Quite a team, together they can run a household seamlessly. Virgo's craftiness and skill with finance, combined with Cancer's mothering abilities and caring nature make them a nice pair, not to mention that these two are both excellent cooks. Virgo does need to take care, however, not to nitpick Cancer and forget that Cancer lives in a world of feelings, not material details. And Cancer needs to allow Virgo space rather than tucking Virgo into their nest of love and expecting their caring ways to be all that Virgo needs. Given these caveats, these two get along quite well, but they are more often better as friends rather than lovers, as there isn't enough mystery to stir romance. These two understand each other a little too well for that.
Cancer - Libra

The upbeat, energetic Libra combined with the subdued and often pensive Cancer makes for an interesting match. Forever optimistic Libra can be a catalyst that ignites Cancer's funky sense of humor, bringing Cancer up out of water and giving them the courage to get out of their shell. Together, these two can have some fun. Libra enjoys Cancer's soft, emotional touch and Cancer appreciates the care Libra takes in dealing with often sensitive human feelings. Often, this dynamic takes Libra and Cancer pretty far in relationships and they can be very attractive to one another. As long as Cancer can keep up with Libra's high-energy level and not drown Libra in emotion, Libra will be happy. Likewise, Libra needs to make sure they provide Cancer with the emotional depth Cancer needs in a relationship or Cancer will be left feeling hollow.
Cancer - Scorpio

More alike than different, Cancer and Scorpio can see right through one another. With Cancer, Scorpio has a tough time doing its usual routine of getting inside another person without allowing the other person to get inside them. Cancer is a ruler in the world of emotion and can feel out Scorpio's motivations and secrets even without Scorpio's permission. This transparency lends mutual understanding and a very smooth relationship is found. Even though they both have enough emotional depth and passion to make a great pair of lovers, it's the transparency that diminishes the possibility for attraction. Also, Scorpio and Cancer are likely to want more excitement than either is able to supply. Neither is notably active and vivacious. To make matters worse they are both prone to spells of depressing brooding. These two make better friends than lovers. There's no mystery and not enough differences to admire or appreciate.
Sagittarius simply can't understand why Cancer gets trapped in a world of emotion and often remains stuck in the past when there is so much fun to be had when you just let go of your feelings and live moment to moment. Cancer often finds Sagittarius' ability to do this attractive, and Sagittarius can often help Cancer let go and unleash Cancer's silly side. But even though Sagittarius helps Cancer release their emotions, they can't help but find Cancer's emotional depth attractive. Because Sagittarius doesn't dive very deep into emotions, they find Cancer's world of emotions mysterious and their seductive nature compelling. Sagittarius just needs to remember to take care with those candid remarks. Cancer can take them to heart even if Sagittarius doesn't mean for Cancer to do so. And Cancer should allow Sagittarius plenty of freedom, being sure not to smother them with emotion which Sagittarius may find too heavy.
With a need for security in common, Cancer and Capricorn work well together. Both want to feel safe and they work hard at achieving this. Cancer loves the feeling of confidence and strength Capricorn exudes, and Capricorn loves that Cancer wants to care for them. It can be a match made in heaven because each wants to provide the care and security the other needs. They go about it in different ways, but they fit together nicely. Capricorn prefers to conquer these goals in the outside world and Cancer prefers to achieve them at home and in relationships. Together, they have everything covered. The only possible rub comes from the different ways they interact emotionally. Capricorn can be emotionally offish and dry, feeling that earning money and providing a home is a satisfactory way to provide emotional support. This isn't enough for Cancer who wants deep emotional intimacy.

Cancer - Aquarius

There is often a great deal of attraction between Cancer and Aquarius who are on opposite sides of the emotional spectrum. It is nearly impossible to put a crack in Aquarius' emotional armor, while Cancer's shell cracks so easily even though they work so hard at keeping it strong. This dynamic is the source of the attraction. Cancer admires Aquarius' tough nature and Aquarius finds Cancer's vulnerability alluring. Some Aquarians want to take a dip into the world of emotions by entering into a relationship with a Cancer. Cancer usually invites them in and feels like Aquarius offers them a strong defense against the outside world. In the best of scenarios, these two enjoy the attraction driven by this dynamic and it's happy sailing, but sometimes the dry, indifference of Aquarius can make Cancer feel alone and ignored, while Cancer's emotional sensitivities can just be confusing for Aquarius who can't find a way to relate to them on this level.
Cancer - Pisces

These two naturally understand one another and can read each other's feelings. Both have the sensitivity that comes from being water signs, so much of their communication is unspoken. Each knows exactly when the other is upset or just not feeling right and they know how to soothe each other in these times when a soft touch is needed. Cancer and Pisces also know how to be gentle with each other's feelings and not make any waves in the relationship. However, because these two are so similar, they may not have the level of attraction they want. This can cause them to become resentful of each other, like they are both stuck in a boring relationship that needs more excitement and passion. So, many times, this combination is better for friendship than for romance.
Cancer - Aries

A combination centering on mystery, there is so little understanding of each other because their basic natures are completely different. Their only commonality is that they are both leaders which actually leads to conflict because they both want to be in charge while their leadership styles are completely different. While Aries charges ahead with every new adventure, Cancer is careful and hesitant feeling its way through life. Aries is likely to be too pushy for Cancer, rushing Cancer along when Cancer isn't ready. Cancer's feelings are vulnerable and will be hurt frequently by Aries' brash attitude. Cancer needs to be cared for and wants to care for others. Aries isn't interested in either end of this spectrum. All of these differences make for an incompatible couple, but there is often attraction with these two due to the mystery stirred by their differences. The combination can work if other elements are compatible between the natal charts of each person, preferably, compatible moons.
Taurus and Cancer share a careful and kind nature. These signs will get along well, but sparks are not likely to fly. Both of these signs move through the world with extreme caution and they appreciate this about each other. Neither will rush the other into anything, and each will take the time to care for the other's feelings. Both are sensual and enjoy physical pleasure like food and sex. Taurus has a pretty tough nature and really isn't sensitive, yet they are attuned to the feelings of others and the nuances of relationships. These qualities in Taurus are valued by Cancer who is most definitely sensitive. These two signs can get along wonderfully, even though attraction is not highly likely.
This pair is very different. Cancer operates on feelings and Gemini operates on intellect. Cancer is very deep and emotional, but is secretly envious of Gemini's ability to slide through life without getting ruffled by hurt feelings. Cancer would love to have Gemini's ability to tell someone off with just the right words when their feelings were hurt instead of letting their feelings rule their reaction. That is, as long as Cancer isn't the receipt of those choice words. Gemini is fascinated by Cancer's ability to feel what motivates people and have a sense of people just from being near them. These two can enjoy attraction as long as they appreciate these differences between them rather than allowing them to create a rub.
