Mars in Leo...

The lion, the symbol of Leo, has no natural enemies. So, when a Leo goes after a goal, they assume their odds of achieving it are stacked in their favor. They don't anticipate much resistance, and for this reason, they love a goal. However, the lion is also proud, and well, rather lazy. So they choose their goals and battles carefully so they aren't embarrassed by failure, and so they don't waste valuable energy.

So, if it's a lover they're after, they are confident but won't bother going after someone they know they won't get. But, when it feels right, they thoroughly enjoy the flirting game, and they are always ready to play. Their biggest problem is balancing the urge to rush in and make a romantic declaration of their love-at-first-sight feelings with their fear of embarrassment because of possible rejection. The Mars in Leo person often gets very excited when they find themselves attracted to someone. They love to be in love. Attraction strikes them often, and there are times when they can't hold back and will just go for it without much hesitation. They will take some time to set the stage. Every effort will be made to look their best and to show off their talents. Moreover, their fixed nature gives them determination, and this combines with their fiery spirit to make them a force that almost always achieves its goals. As a fire sign, these people make grand decisions about things they want, but their fixed nature keeps them from rushing into battle too quickly. Even though they get excited about new ventures, they also realize that every decision requires follow through. 

Their self-conscious nature knows that failure is embarrassing. Every decision to go after something is contemplated with regard to how it will make them look in the eyes of others. They are proud and believe they have an image to uphold. However, if they do fail, you won't see them sulk, brood or pout. Their pride is too strong for this. A short burst of angry frustration is more likely, followed by a declaration that they are over it. Some time will be spent recouping in private to regain their strength, and they will be ready for the next goal. 

When they aren't pursuing a love interest, they are often busy with artistic projects. Mars in Leo people find enormous fulfillment in artistic expression, and if they can make money at it, they are in absolute heaven. This is the ultimate because it's achieving two goals in one. But, if they can't earn a living with their talents, they will still pursue them. It's simply their nature. Even if their talent is as simple as being outgoing and attractive, they will do it
